In my earlier posting I pointed out that while running the cisco_ipv4_dos (11791) plugin with nessus 2.0.7. It did not actually run the test.
The nessus log reports "Not launching cisco_ipv4_dos.nasl because the key CISCO/model is missing"
I also had these plugins enabled " nmap, 10264, 10265, 10969, 10551, 10800, 10550". The report indicates that SNMP is indeed running on the router, along with IOS version, platform, etc. but does not report on 11791.
Is this a bug or other plugins have to be enabled? (the plugin dependencies checkbox was ticked)
regards asrap
