Hello Nessus gurus:
I want to make sure I understand the relationship between the Prefs. Tab and
the Port scanner:Nmap option properly.
If Port scanner:Nmap is disabled (default) the more memory efficient,
internal Nmap is being used. If Port scanner:Nmap is enabled, the external
Nmap executable found in the path is used.
Do the Prefs. Nmap options apply to both the internal ("plug-in"?) and
external Nmap?
I noticed this morning that a full scan DOS's our SonicWALL Pro and want to
make sure I understand what is happening.
