The embedded web server in NAV for Exchange 2000 cannot handle the torture that Nessus gives to a port capable of handling web connections. When we contacted Symantec about this, they claimed not to know about it -- but we were able to repeat this on a clean install every time, even after seriously throttling back the number of tests for Nessus to try at one time. (Either the directory crawler or torture_cgi was bringing it down; it consistantly would take nearly 1,500 probes before beginning to fail to respond to further requests.)
