Greetings!
I'm trying to generate a client cert, for my -WX client(presumably, this is why I get the error below).
I'm trying to generate a client cert, for my -WX client(presumably, this is why I get the error below).
The server functions fine, nessusd is running.
1. This command doesn't seem to generate a key (found in the FAQ), no matter which switches I try:
(Debian 2.2 kernel, nessus 2.0, latest client)
pleiades:/etc/nessus# nessus -mkcert-client
nessus : Key lengths smaller than 512 are unsupported!
pleiades:/etc/nessus# nessus -k 1024 -mkcert-client
nessus : Key lengths smaller than 512 are unsupported!
nessus : Key lengths smaller than 512 are unsupported!
pleiades:/etc/nessus# nessus -k 1024 -mkcert-client
nessus : Key lengths smaller than 512 are unsupported!
I get this error when trying to connect via WX, tried all cipher versions, even if I disable ssl encryption in the client and nessus.conf:
ERROR: Server doesn't have valid X.509 certificate
was trying to follow this FAQ:
1.4.5. How can I get a certificate from the nessus server to NessusWX?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
