Hi All: I'm running Nessus (on slack 9.0) over a dial-up line (33.6 external modem) - I am getting decent speeds (for the modem anyway), but was wondering if there were any settings in nessus I could change to improve scan performance or accuracy. I have configured the port scanner to only scan for certain ports, and I am only scanning 1 host at a time.
I am running this as a "proof of concept" - once I get it working I'm hoping I can get better hardware and a better connection! Thanks!
