Yes, these look to be the result of an error.  The error's not with the
XML output functions, though, but in the parsing of the host timestamps
in parse_server_message() in nessus-core/nessus/parser.c.  I've
submitted a bug report -- http://bugs.nessus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=592 --
if you're interested, it contains a patch that fixes the problem.
