I downloaded the plugin again and re-g'unzipped it and restarted the nessus
daemon and the plugins where there.  must have done something weird and
funky.  thanks everyone!

I noticed a few of the recent plugins lack version info.  This was true
of 11844 (kazaa_network.nasl), 11856 (iplanet_data_snag.nasl), 11858
(ttl_anom.nasl), and 11874 (iis_ver_check.nasl) but not 11872
(odbc_tools_check.nasl).  And I don't see why this would cause a problem
for NessusWX. 

Have you made sure they're being loaded by the server? For example, set
log_plugins_name_at_load to yes in nessusd.conf, restart the daemon, and
then examine nessusd.messages.  Are the plugins visible using the
nessus GUI / commandline client?
