Yes, in fact yesterday while running the WAP discovery NASL, we downed a PIX 525 running IOS 6.22.140. Our team is currently working with Cisco to determine exactly why this happens as well as getting a patch from the vendor.

I'd like to know if anybody has crashed network equipments (firewall, routers, load balancers) while running a Nessus scan. I had bad experiences with stateful devices. I did not scan those devices directly: they were just on the way between the Nessus daemon and the target machine(s). Although I cannot be 100% sure, I suspect that "stream.nasl" is responsible. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://arboi.da.ru FAQNOPI de fr.comp.securite http://faqnopi.da.ru/
