Hi, Here�s my situation: I want to scan my network to identify wich machines are using P2P software, I installed Nessus in a Linux box, and connect to it with NessusWX. All I want is to check the P2P software, I do not want to do any more tests of any kind. In the configuration of the session, I disable all plugins but the P2P plugin, and also in the Portscan tab I configure it to not scan any port(used a lot of confs, with empty well-kwon services, range 1-1 to tes), and disable everything. The problem is when I execute the scan, Nessus identifys lots of other things, like SNMP, netbios, microsoft-ds vulnerabilities... and because of that the scan takes a lot of time.
After the host is scanned the result is like: Host-Portscan-Alltests-Holes-Warnings-Infos-Ports-Status 10.10.10.1-0%-100%-1-5-0-3-Finished I just want to check the P2P, I do not care about netbios, microsoft-ds, or any kind of vulnerabilities, I do not care about these security checks. Is there any other option I need to disable for Nessus not to check those things, and only the P2P? I will try to run from command line because the Linux box does not have GUI, but I would like to know how to do it with NessusWX, because I want to leave other admins who do not like command-line to scan for the P2P with NesussWX.
