I ran into the same problems the first time I tried to do things by something other than rpms and as a Windows user, I figured I was in big trouble since I don't know linux much at all. Luckily, I grabbed apt and synaptic from FreshRPMS.Net and using synaptic, I was able to look for the missing dependencies and get them installed without any problem. I'd use synaptic to search for the missing pieces, install them and try the install again. Find the next missing piece, install it and start again. -- Mike Lyman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
