I have a RedHat 9.0 machine running the Nessus 2.09 daemons. I can use the gui, command line and NessusWX against this instance. I have another RedHat 8.0 machine with a full Nessus 2.09 install but I cannot establish a remote session to the RedHat 9.0 machine which is running the 2.09 daemons
I can run this from the daemon running machine but not on any other Linux box with a full install of Nessus 2.09
# nessus -qx 149.152.29.49 1241 user password /root/targets /root/results
nessus : Remote host is not using the good version of the Nessus communication protocol (1.2) or is tcpwrapped
tcp wrappers are empty.
Ideas?
