Can you give more information regarding your problem? Your question is hard to answer in the present form.

- Does the nessusd reside on the same box you are attempting to connect from?
- Are you sure that you have a valid username and password?
- Have you ever logged in to nessus (using any account)?
- Is the nessus daemon running?
