1/ how can i be sure that plugin are ON or OFF
One way is to disable them in the config file.
I'm not sure if it's the best way, but it is one way, and it's "easily" scriptable.
Look in the config file, and find something like this.
--- begin(PLUGIN_SET) 10530 = yes 10309 = yes 10660 = yes 10468 = yes 10859 = yes ... ----
You just change yes to no, and bingo, the script arn't run.
I suppose there are other ways, like using the GUI clients, but I don't have much experience with those. I only tried "Enable all" and "Enable all but dangerous plugins", but I bet there are others out there, that have tried those?
2/ if i change things on Nessus throught Xwindow does that change teh nessusrc permanetly (btw xwindow from remote is SLOW and i didn't find a freeware for Windows so i have used it on my Mac with Xfree)

3/ is there a nessusrc strategy guide somewhere ?
