nessusd -d returns:

Current setup :
Experimental session-saving : enabled
Experimental KB saving : enabled
Thread manager : fork
nasl : 2.0.9
libnessus : 2.0.9
SSL support : enabled
SSL is used for client / server communication
Running as euid : 0
when i run nessusd normally or with -D it will return me to the command
prompt immediately without any messages or core files, ps shows it not to
be running, i have tried recompiling and reinstalling numerous times and
ways including the FreeBSD Ports Tree and the nessus-installer.sh file...
Any ideas?
