Jason, I have noticed nessusWX will appear to "hang" (reported as "not responding" in the task manager) when I am generating large reports of any type, not just pdf. I have never bothered to look at consumed system resources while this is happening as I still seem to have use of my system otherwise. For large reports (class B, one or two plugins), I have let nessusWX sit in this condition for literally hours and a report is finally generated. I have never really questioned this because otherwise, nessusWX is an excellent interface and the price is right. Does this seem related to your problem?
