Title: RE: nessus-update-plugins error

Do you have lynx or wget installed?

I think it defaults to lynx but you can tell it to use wget by passing the following switch when compiling nessus-plugins

# ./configure --with-fetchcmd=wget
# make && make install

Subject: nessus-update-plugins error

Hi list,

maybe it's easy, but I can't have nessus-update-plugins to work.

When I try to run it (as root), I obtain the following error:

$fetch_cmd not set in /usr/sbin/nessus-update-plugins - aborting

..what am I missing?

Thanks all

NA
