Maybe I'm missing something and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm
mistaken, but I believe Nessus client and server use ssl by default, there
is no need to "turn it on". Maybe you're not missing anything ... =-)

You might need to set up certificates if you wish to use those for
authentication, but Nessus is ssl-enabled "out of the box" for client/server
interactions.

That being said, I've been running Nessus (client and server) on OS X 10.3.2
quite successfully.

Cheers,

Ben

Subject: Client on OS X

Okay, I have nessusd running on a 10.3.2 box

Certs created on the server. In:

Certification authority :
   Certificate = /sw/com/nessus/CA/cacert.pem
   Private key = /sw/var/nessus/CA/cakey.pem

.Nessus Server :
    Certificate = /sw/com/nessus/CA/servercert.pem
    Private key = /sw/var/nessus/CA/serverkey.pem

Certs on the client

Trying to set up the client to talk to nessusd via SSL, but no real help
available on this...searched the archives...I know I'm missing something
dumb.
