I’ve used Nessus for a few years (great product!!). However, I am just now starting to learn about NASL. I looked at the NSAL script for the spank (multicast) test. Can anyone tell me what could cause a false positive? I tested against a few routers, which are filtering 224.0.0.0/4, yet Nessus still reports that they respond and are vulnerable. Can anyone shed light on what may cause a false positive here??
Thanks in advance,
