George, I had made a mistake earlier in identifying the plugin. They are both enabled when I run the scan and looking at the description provided, the FP is for 11060 and not for 12110. The description for 12110 seems to make more sense though as it can justify this as a false positive, if it is one. I just checked the plugin on nessus and some other user has also got the same problem of a FP on a windows box under the User Comments :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] -Thu, 26 Feb 2004 19:08:38 -0500 I am scanning an IIS 5 web server with SSL turned on. There is no OpenSSL installed. Anybody any ideas? Looks like it might need some tweaking for the plugin script. Thanks a lot, Best Regards, Keyur Lavingia -----Original Message----- From: George Theall [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, March 29, 2004 2:13 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: What is the difference in these plugins ? _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
