I'm trying to use the os_fingerprint.nasl plugin and am having mixed results.
If I run it by itself or let it run as a dependency of nfs_xlog_overflow.nasl
it works fine, but if it runs as part of the broader SANS Top 10 list of
plugins for UNIX it runs and exits successfully but produces no entry in the
results file. The working one comes from the bigger one, but with the
plugins turned off except for the nfs_xlog_overflow.nasl plugin, as well as
tcp_connect scanning of ports 21,22,23,25,139,445. Is the os_fingerprint
plugin dependent on timing?
