It appears to do so. The only one I have info for is 8.1.7.4 where application of 
patch 2899111 gives a version number of 8.1.7.4.9.

Renaud, you'd better bin that patch I sent you. I misread the Oracle announcement for 
the patch numbers and thought that it said that these were the release numbers where 
the thing was fixed.
