report window [newbie]

i'm terribly sorry to waste your time with this kind of newbie's 
questions but i can't get the report window working in the nessus client 
when i finish a scan.
I'm currently running a debian sid, (with gtk if it matters).
there's no error message.
i'm must have missed something but what ?
