I am currently trying to scan a subnet in my company's network and the client (NessusWX) seems to be hanging while "Updating Server Preferences...". I have scanned networks several times before and have not had this problem. What makes it more confusing is that a coworker who also has Nessus on his machine, with the rights to scan the network, gets hung up at the same place. We are both using VMWare, running the server in RedHat Linux 9.0. The server, as I previously stated, is NessusWX, running on a Windows XP box. The PC I am running this on has a P4 3.2 Gig processor with 1 Gig of Ram. I consider myself to be very competent with Windows, but with Linux I am just a beginner. Thanks in advance for the help.
