I suspect your /tmp filesystem is mounted noexec. Under SuSE, something like "cat /proc/mounts | grep /tmp" should tell you. If this is the problem, remount it with the "exec" option (eg, "mount -o remount,exec /tmp") and re-run the installer. George -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
