I've installed 2.0.11 on two Fedora core 1 machines and found that the client "Plug-in Selection" list doesn't show the following families even after running nessus-update-plugins:
Fedora Local Security Checks
FreeBSD Local Security Checks
Red Hat Local Security Checks
Port Scanning (This one is included in the Scan options so I understand why it is not listed).
Solaris LSC
SuSE LSC
I've checked the /user/local/lib/nessus/plugins directory to make sure that the *.nasl for those families are in the directory. But, I noticed that the .nessusrc doesn't include some of the Fedora LSC plugins IDs. Isn't nessus-update-plugins supposed to update this file so that it reflects all the plugins loaded on the plugin directory. Why aren't all the families listed above not showing in the "Plugin Selection" list?
Any help would be appreciated.
HD.
