I have gotten it to work.

I ran NessusWX on a Windows 2000 Server and nessusd running on Debian
Linux. I created named batch files for the different systems I wanted
to scan and scheduled them to run with the built-in task scheduler
program.

I had to get NessusWX authenticating with a certificate instead of a
password. I don't remember what Windows account I ran it under or if it
made a difference.

When any updates to nessus came out, I would have to open the sessions
with NessusWX manually and fix them. This is the main reason I quit
batching scans with NessusWX. The frequency of updates to the nessus
plug-ins made it impractical.

PS - I apologize in advance for the legal disclaimer at the bottom of my
email message. This is tacked on by our SMTP gateway and I have no
control over it. I have also put in a request to have the text wrap at
character 72 instead of just a single incredibly long line.
