I'm trying to scan a network of Windows 2000/XP machines and running into
problems. Every machine has a local administrator account which I provide
for the SMB account and password. However, when I leave the SMB domain
blank, some of the plug-ins (the ones that I need) fail due to an incorrect
guessing of the domain (WORKGROUP). I know this by looking at the Security
logs in the Event Viewer. The only way I can get it to work is by scanning
the machines individually providing the machine name as the domain. All
the machines are under the same domain just not WORKGROUP. Providing that
domain doesn't work either. Am I missing something? Thanks
