Hi,

when using nessus to scan a single Windows host, plugin 10394
(smb_login.nasl) gives the same warning four identical times. Does it
want to say something special by that multiplication, is it a bug, or
am I doing things wrong?

I'll happily deliver any information that might be necessary to find
out what happens here.

Greetings
Marc

Warning given: It was possible to log into the remote host using a
NULL session. The concept of a NULL sessio nis to provide a null
username and a null password, which grants the user the 'guest'
access. To prevent null sessions, see MS KB Article Q143474 (NT4.0)
and Q246261 (Windows 2000). Note that this won't completely disable
null sessions, but will prevent them from connecting to IPC$.
