The C Hydra plugin is obsolete and disabled in the CVS (it will be disabled in the next 2.2 or 2.3 release) It is replaced by 23 "trusted" NASL scripts which call the external Hydra command. Now, you need to install Hydra 4.4 from http://www.thc.org/releases.php If the "hydra" command is not found in $PATH, the plugin will not appear in the GUI. To select or disable test, you must go to the "Brute force accounts" family and choose what you need.
