Hi-
I was wondering if this license is available for reading yet. Also, is the feed license different than the Tenable plugin license. By this I'm asking if this license only talks about using the feed legally, or does it also talk about where and when plugins can be used. For example earlier it was mentioned that plugins cannot be resold on an appliance and such since they're not GPL, is there a license that spells out the terms of use for Tenable plugins?

Thanks,
Dave King

So if a Tenable plugin was developed, tested, and accepted for a critical vulnerability before a GPL one, this policy could leave the GPL side with never having a plugin available to check for that vuln. At bare minimum you'd have to sign up for the licensed feed to be able to check for that vuln.

At bare minimum, you'd have to register for the free (7 days delayed) feed, yes. For the record, there are over 3,000 non-GPL plugins in the feed today, and that does not seem to have annoyed anyone so far.

Also there is a mention that a user is required to accept the Tenable license for access to the licensed feed. Where is this license? I could not locate it for reading and understanding.

It will be made available to the general public later on today.
