George,

I got it installed, and can run the server "nessusd" but it the OS does not recognize the command "nessus."

H1P-1000:/# nessus
bash: nessus: command not found
H1P-1000:/#

here is my path:

PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11

After I installed Nessus it told me to add an address to the path, I did; but "nessus" still is not recognized at the command prompt.

Go to <http://list.nessus.org/> and either subscribe to the list 'nessus'
or view the archives.

Do you have OpenSSL, including the header files, installed?
