I am running a remote control program on a web server. When I scan
the server with Nessus (actually newt the windows version) it blows
the remote control program away and I have to restart the server to
get contol back.

My question is ... can I tell newt to skip the port that the remote
control program listens on? The port range is currently "default".
Can I change that to something like this ...

1-1999,2001-2048

to skip port 2000?

I'm being vague about the details here for security reasons.

Thanks in advance.
