Where is chown on your system? Is it in a directory included in the PATH
defined in the script?
It is located at /usr/sbin/
It is included in the path:
echo $PATH
/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/root/bin
I'm not asking about the current PATH but rather the one defined
explicitly in the script. If this indeed is my script, you will need to
edit the script and add /usr/sbin since it's not included by default.

but got error:
# perl update-nessus-plugins
Too late for "-T" option at update-nessus-plugins line 1.
