I have been reading the Nessus book that was recently
published and I thoroughly enjoy what I have read so far. One question I have
is it mentions setting up a list of the IPs you would like to scan, in order to
avoid scanning some IP addresses. For example, every time I scan an HP printer
I must power cycle the printer before it can print again. So I created a list
of devices I would add in every IP address I want to scan. This seems like a waste to type in every IP that I want
scanned when my list is really 192.168.1.1/24 minus 192.168.1.XXX where XXX is
the printer I want to avoid. Is there a simpler way of doing this? Jonathan Jesse Network+, Linux+, A+ MCSA Network Specialist Founders Trust Personal Bank This page and any accompanying documents contain confidential information
