I'll try it out. Some of the symptoms sound the same, others don't. We have plenty of ram, and no find_service currently running.

This is from top.
Mem:    901156k total,   655008k used,   246148k free,    17116k buffers
Swap:  1935824k total,     8432k used,  1927392k free,   375556k cached

Thanks, and I will make a note if it worked or not once I run the test. I am running it against many class C's, and it sometimes takes a while before it stops.
