Hi all, and Georg in particular,
Nessusd keeps running, but on startup of nessusd one entry is made in the nessusd.messages, stating that a proces received the SEGV signal.
No, I didn't configure nessus-core with "--enable-unix-socket".
I remembered that during the compilation, I received a few warnings, so I've started the compilation again. Nessus-libraries are OK, but libnasl gives warnings like "warning: assignment discards qualifiers from pointer target type" and "passing arg x of `object y' from incompatible pointer type". Now, I am not c-programmer, but I'm working my way through these warnings with help of the internet! Some warnings have to do with variable types that are defined as int, but in aix as size_t (for instance in getsockopt). After adjustements nasl_socket.c compiles OK now, but exec.c still gives difficulties.
Does this ring a bell?

Is nessusd still running? Is there anything in the syslog or nessusd.messages log to suggest what the problem is? Finally, you didn't configure nessus-core with "--enable-unix-socket", did you?
