I just did a fresh install of 2.2.4 on OS X 10.3.9. Nothing fancy - all the stock compile-time options. Registered the install, updated the plugins (registered feed). Everything went fine and no errors at all.
However, when I go to fire up nessusd, it dumps a ton of errors on the screen as it is trying to load the plugins. Looks like:
