We are a little bit baffled about the “Security Hole” we get on our machines when scanning them.

---
You are running a version of Nessus which is not configured to receive
a full plugin feed. As a result, the security audit of the remote host produced
incomplete results.

To obtain a complete plugin feed, you need to register your Nessus scanner
at http://www.nessus.org/register/ then run nessus-update-plugins to get
the full list of Nessus plugins.
---

We have registered the scanner (not bought though), and are using the update script to get the new plugins, and everything looks like it’s working out fine. The only thing that looks a bit wrong is that we get a MD5 file containing a checksum for a file called all-2.0.tar.gz and we would think it ought to be called something with a 2.2 in the name, as the Nessus scanner is v2.2.3, or are we mistaking?

From the warning message we read it as we don’t receive any other plugins than the ‘GPL Feed ‘ , and that’s not what we were expecting.

Is the warning message a bit off, or is it possible a bug, or? Any ideas to what the problem might be?
