But what about tcp_seq_window.nasl specifically? If it's still not working,
try the following:

  1) Make a backup of tcp_seq_window.nasl
  2) Edit tcp_seq_window.nasl and edit the variables 'debug'
     and 'port'; debug should be set to 1 and port to a port
     you know is open on the target.
  3) As root, run the plugin from the commandline; eg,
       nasl -t $target tcp_seq_window.nasl
  4) Repeat 2 + 3 with a different open port.

What does it report? When you're finished, restore the backup copy you made.
