"built-in" and "extended" are templates used by ping_host.nasl to
specify port ranges. Look in the plugin itself to find the exact ports
used for each.

I'm not sure I understand this, but you can certainly replace "built-in"
with your favourite list of ports in your config file(s).

nessusd customizes the min/max time nmap waits for probe responses for
each target.
