Title: Linux Client

Hello all,

I'm still fairly new to nessus and had a question that I can't seem to find the answer to.  I've got a Fedora Core 3 Server that I've installed Nessus on.  I installed it without x but added all the supporting files so it could compile the gtk.

My client machine is also a Fedora box that is running X, I've ssh'ed over to the Nessus Server and attempted to run nessus thinking it would run it localy but port the  client display to my machine but I get: (nessus:485): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

Is it possible to do it this way? The only information I fould on the web said to install a full copy of Nessus on the Server AND on the machine running the client.  Then fire up the client and attach to the server. Is there a Standalone Linux Client so I don't have to install a full copy of Nessus on everyones machine that will be using this?

Thanks for any help,

Ray DuBose
