So I pulled down the latest nessus install from DarwinPorts: nessus-core 2.2.4_1 (active) nessus-libraries 2.2.4_0 (active) nessus-plugins 2.2.4_0 (active)
Ran nessus-mkcert, added a single password user, regsitered with the plugin feed, updated the plugins. Start nessusd in daemon mode Start up the Nessus client on that machine in X11 via Apple Remote Desktop. Try to log in as admin. If I log in to localhost, or that machine's DNS name, I get SSL Errors. If I log into 127.0.0.1, it's all good. It's more annoying than anything else, I just wanted to see what the reasons could be. -- John C.
