The version it installs is OpenSSL 0.9.8a 11 Oct 2005 The version OS X installs by default is: OpenSSL 0.9.7g 11 Apr 2005 Running on OS X Server 10.4.3, no change in behavior between 10.4.2 and 10.4.3. The two errors I'm getting on connecting to 127.0.0.1 are: SSL_connect: error:140943FC:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert bad record mac [13165] SSL_connect: error:1408F455:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:decryption failed or bad record mac Any help/pointers are greatly appreciated. -- John C.
