I am using the latest nessus and only use the GUI
version to do scans. I scan about 5 external Internet facing IP addresses
(FTP, mail server, webmail, VPN), although the final report shows the correct
ports that are open it only shows only 2 warnings on the webmail server.
I am either doing my job of patching the servers and locking down my firewall
or not scanning properly. I never use the credentials tab and don’t
change much in the preferences, can you suggest anything that might show me
some more errors/holes? Thanks Andy |
