If you dont have SSL support on Linux... You can run scan using command line also...

Subject: Error on Installation of Nessus client on Redhat Linux ES3.0
Date: Thu, 22 Dec 2005 23:24:43 +0530
Hi,
I was trying to install Nessus client on a Linux machine having OS as mentioned in the heading. In the same system the Nessus server is running.
Server was installed from the rpm Nessus-3.0.0-es3.i386.rpm.
Now I got the Nessus client from Nessus .org as NessusClient-1.0.0.RC1.tar.gz.
During installation it gave me error as gtk+-2.0 is needed.
But after that I tried to install gtk+-2.3.5-2.i386.rpm but it again so me different dependency problem .
error: Failed dependencies:
iconv is needed by gtk+-2.3.5-2
libXinerama.so.1 is needed by gtk+-2.3.5-2
xcursor is needed by gtk+-2.3.5-2
xft is needed by gtk+-2.3.5-2
xrender is needed by gtk+-2.3.5-2
How to remove all those dependencies.Or I am doing anything wrong.
Thanks
Prasun Kumar Mukhopadhyay
