Aphex, I had the same problems on the same platform (and other Mandriva-/Mandrake-Version, too).
I did the following and didn't find any errors after scanning some hosts for testing V3. urpmi db4 urpmi libdb4.3-devel cd /usr/lib ln -s libssl.so.0.9.7 libssl.so.4 ln -s libcrypto.so.0.9.7 libcrypto.so.4 urpmi --allow-nodeps --allow-force Nessus-3.0.1-es4.i386.rpm then, try an installation without dependencies when asked. after this, Nessus should behave like under "normal" circumstances. Let me add, that I didn't experience such problems (missing symlinks: yes - still unresolved dependencies after correct symlinks: no) using packages where the source is available, e.g. nessus-v2 *duck'n'run* Cheers, Toby BAKEMAN wrote on 08.01.2006 22:06:
