Yes, if GTK+ isn't available the client can't be built. There's also an
option to deliberately compile without the client.

But Nessus 2.2.6 still DEFINITELY includes the client. There's no plans
to do anything drastic with 2.2.6, that's why they went to a whole new
version number.
