Mhhh... I'd say that you're running out of ram. Try to reduce
max_hosts to 30 or 50 and see wether the problem persists ? (how much
ram do you have ?).



That solved it!  It is a RAM issue.


FWIW, memory usage has been drastically reduced in Nessus 3 :

I definitely advise you to upgrade when we release the Solaris builds.
