Thank you for your reply. I am just using the binaries supplied by debian on their stable version. I will try to upgrade.

Still wondering why it was working fine yesterday.

First may I recommend you go to Nessus 3, and not sure if it was just a typo but it is nessus-fetch, syntax below.

Usage: nessus-fetch --plugins
Usage: nessus-fetch --plugins-md5
Usage: nessus-fetch --register <serial>
Usage: nessus-fetch --check
Usage: nessus-fetch --challenge
Usage: nessus-fetch --url <url> <localfile> [<http_login> <http_password>]

Hope that helps!!

Hello,

nessusd 2.2.3, debian sarge.

I registered yesterday as a Registered Feed and succeeded to update the plugins a couple of times.

Today, nessus-upgrade-plugins failed. It's hanging there for more than 15 minutes. No info in the logs. Tried several time to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks
