Hi Ricardo,

I am the current maintainer of Net::Nessus. Sometime last year I stopped
dedicating time to this module, so I'm not up to date with what it
supports.

I will look at this and contact you personally in a day or so, after I had
a change to look at the code - meanwhile, if you can keep emailing me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] if you find anything else.

I would like some ideas on how to maintain this module from members of
this list, and specifically:

- Since Tenable has been moving Nessus over time away from open source,
what's their opinion on Net::Nessus and adhoc Nessus solutions ? I would
rather not be involved in any bad blood with a company trying to guard
it's trade secrets. If on the other hand, a perl API to a Nessus is in the
best commercial interest of Tenable, maybe Tenable would like to submit
code patches, or document NTP better, or in some way help support this
development ? I have lost some interest in Nessus in the past year, so
forgive me if all this has been discussed before and I just didn't follow
the license ugliness.

Is it even legally possible for me to keep developing Net::Nessus for
Nessus versions with software license agreements other than the GPL ?

Tiago
